Assessment & Consultation

Assessment
I provide private assessments for children, adolescents, and adult students. I assess professionals for the purpose of determining eligibility for accommodations for tests, for example, the WA State Bar Examination or teaching certification Assessments cover the following areas:

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD/ADD).

  • Learning Disorders that impact reading, written expression, and mathematics, including assessment of underlying conditions such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia.

  • Co-occurring difficulties with behavior, social skills, and emotion regulation, for example, anxiety, in children and adolescents.

The assessments are used by:

  • K-12 school districts to determine eligibility for 504 plans and Individual Educational Plans (I.E.P.’s).

  • Colleges, universities, testing agencies to determine eligibility for 504 plans and testing accommodations.

  • Physicians and psychiatric nurse practitioners to inform medication management, if applicable.

Consultation

  • School Placement. For students I assess, I provide consultation to parents about school placement options and behavior plans.

  • Record Review. I conduct reviews of previous testing and I.E.P.’s for parents who are unsure about how to proceed in getting educational support for their children.

I am a certified telepsychology provider for participating PSYPACT states, WA, DC, and territories.
